The Silesian Eagle was on June 16, 1919 by the General Command VI. Army Corps for members of the Border Guards VI. Army Corps, which have come to arms in the time of the greatest distress of the province, as an outward sign of honorable memory and of patriotic common sense, and for all those who in 1918 and 1919 were available as fighters for the defense of the native soil.
The Schlesische probation badge or also popularly called Schlesischer Adler, was a free corps award in the time of the Weimar Republic. It represents stylistically changed, the coat of arms eagle of Silesia.
